Am I able to sue my college for this?

"Ugly attitude" and rudeness is NOT something one can sue about successfully. Nor is inconvenience. Frankly, I think you're darned lucky not being required to pay back any overage given to you in error. Also, a college financial aid office is NOT required to inform you of all the details in how decisions are made and what may have happened. I'm sure you are very frustrated, but that, madam, happens to everybody now and then, and how you handle it shows whether you are actually mature enough for college. You are, of course, free to seek to obtain legal counsel, but I doubt that you will find counsel willing to take the matter up on your behalf. You can, of course, represent yourself if you choose to do so, but should be prepared for extremely competent counsel on behalf of the school.
